O. Rickey Harris holds the CWCA (Certified WorkComp Advisor) and CMIP (Certified Marine Insurance Professional) designations. He also runs LongshoremanInsurance.com, the agency’s established site for longshore and maritime comp.
O. Rickey Harris has been in the insurance business since 1980. He leads things at Old National Insurance Inc., doing business as Harris Insurance, at 806 Highway 78 West in Jasper, Alabama.
His background is workers’ comp, longshore and marine, and he’s been writing USL&H since 2007. That’s the same ground crane and rigging outfits work on: crews that get hurt, cranes on barges and at the docks, and contracts that spell out who pays.
